Mission
The Botanical Society is a small but dedicated group of students and faculty who are passionate about plants! We are committed to teaching all who are interested about the cultivation, uses, ecology, and the biology of plants and their allies. We hold monthly meetings that change based on the groups schedule. We also hold regular greenhouse workdays during which we propagate plants, maintain our greenhouse, and share information about different plants of interest and their care. We work with a number of undergraduate/graduate research projects ranging from mycology to aquaponics to medicinal botany. We also host regular nature walks and wild foraging talks. If you're interested in anything plant-related don't hesitate to get in touch with us, we regularly consider our members thoughts and ideas to help formulate the functions/events that we facilitate. botany, gardening, plants, ecology, restoration, aquaponics, fish, garden, outdoors, planting, botanical, flowers, vegetables, plant, floral, nature, forage, foraging, mycology, mushrooms, wild food, organic, hike, hiking, natural, wild, healthy, grow, green, farming, agriculture, ag, farm, biology, environment, horticulture, science, food, sustainable, growth, cultivation, germination, germinate, cultivate,
