Active Minds is a student mental health advocacy and awareness organization that provides resources and implements numerous efforts in advancing various mental health awareness's, including suicide prevention, depression, anxiety, etc.

Membership Benefits
Members can list their involvement within Active Minds on their resume as advocacy, mental health, or event/marketing experience. Psychology majors in particular can gain better understanding of various mental health acknowledgements outside the classroom and build off of that from personal interactions with fellow members. All members regardless of their major, however, will create many new friendships through Active Minds, and furthermore be surrounded by like-minded individuals who will provide an abundancy of support and togetherness.

Activity & Service Fee is a per-credit fee that all students pay. These fees are awarded through three processes whose corresponding forms can be found in this organization: Annual Budget, Travel Grants, and Project Grants. Annual Budgets are awarded to Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), Sports Club Council, Departments, and other similar entitites on a yearly basis during the spring budget process. Travel Grants are given to undergraduate and graduate students who are travelling to advance their educational experience in their area of study or interest. Project Grants are given to active RSOs and departments NOT FUNDED through the yearly budget process and are to be used for one-time activities that promote the mission of the organization and/or enhance University-wide programm

The African American Student Association's primary objectives are to promote humanism within the University community and improve the educational, social, and political environment among African American students. Establish and maintain a line of communication among African American students, other student organizations, student government, and the administration of the University of West Florida. AASA strives to develop programs (educational, social, and entertaining) that are beneficial to the development of a wider perspective of diversity, culture, acceptance, and engagement in the UWF community. As an organization , we plan to stress the need for unity among African American students and accent the various forms of African American community. Along with highlighting education as a necessity for the development of a more secure African American community all while serving as the voice and representative on issues concerning African American students at the University of West Florida.

Alpha Chi Omega at UWF is a sisterhood of motivated, energetic women who are leaders on campus and in the classroom. Since 2006, the Kappa Xi chapter of AXO has been serving the Pensacola community by raising money for domestic violence prevention. UWF Alpha Chis are also known as passionate advocates for survivors of sexual violence. Outside of philanthropy, sisters get excited about intramural sports, tailgates, campus organizations like the UWF Ambassadors, and any opportunity to hang out together, whether it's a study date or a beach day.

The Theta Lambda chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta at the University of West Florida has prided itself on living with purpose and staying true to the meaning of sisterhood for over 25 years. Here you can find a group of women that will stay with you for the rest of your life. You can always find a few Alpha Gams relaxing at the dorm, taking over the 3rd-floor of the library, or cheering on our sisters at intramurals! We take pride in being active members of the campus community. If you love sports, politics, or Jesus, then there's probably a club for you on campus. Heck, there might even be a few. We founded Argo Gaming, because there was nothing like that for us. An issue with gaming communities is that they are often purely online – rarely will you have friends to game with beyond your personal friends. So we wanted to build a physical, real, tangible community where people who love games can have fun together.

This high-impact program enhances the college experience and first-year success by building a community of peers and connecting students with campus programs and resources. Students living in the community live in Martin Hall together, attend events and community service experiences together, and take the Foundations for Academic Success Seminar (SLS 1109) together.

The purpose of this group is to allow students to collaborate on AI research projects and participate in data science competitions to help prepare them for careers in AI research and data science. We meet on a weekly basis to discuss research projects we're working on and prepare for competitions we're planning on participating in.

Group members are free to participate in whichever activities spark their interest, and are encouraged to bring in their own research projects and competitions they're interested in. Deep learning in particular is what the group usually focuses on, but our projects are by no means limited to that. We encourage our members to explore their own interests and collaborate with other like-minded students in the group. The group is member-oriented and its primary purpose is to facilitate the collaboration and exchange of knowledge between group members of all interests and experience levels.
